Farming & Produce

Prancer’s Farm grows a diverse selection of fruits and vegetables year-round. Our Monterey strawberries are produced throughout the year, along with seasonal crops including gourmet lettuce, spinach, broccoli, cauliflower, and fresh rosemary. Our customers love our mouth watering yellow watermelons and Tuscan melons. We use our green houses to maintain year round ripe Heirloom tomatos. We harvest Gem avocados from April through mid-September and Hass avocados beginning in November. Additional offerings include Valencia oranges, navel oranges, Cara Cara oranges, and mandarins during their respective harvest seasons.

We grow produce both on our own property and on additional leased land throughout the Heritage Valley. We also proudly partner with local farmers between Santa Paula and Piru, allowing us to offer a wide variety of fresh, locally grown produce year-round while strengthening long-standing agricultural relationships within the community.

Animals & Farm Experiences

Our farm features a petting zoo where guests can hand-feed cows, goats, and lambs, as well as round-pen horse rides for visitors of all ages. The majority of our animals are rescues or were raised on the farm. We have bred and raised many cows, goats, and lambs that are now friendly, well-socialized, and beloved by our guests, creating meaningful and educational animal interactions for families and children.
